Adoption Process
At Joreese Australian Cobberdogs, we pride ourselves in helping families bring home a puppy that will make a great addition to their family. When you adopt a puppy from Joreese Australian Cobberdogs your puppy will come home with:
- Up-To-Date Vaccinations & Worming
- All Puppies will be Microchipped
- Puppy Health Card
- Puppy Contract
- Registered Pedigree by Master Dog Breeder
We would love to keep in contact with our puppies and their families after they go home, we are always available for questions. We love to receive updates or photos of your new pup. If you have any questions about Joreese Australian Cobberdogs adoption process please do not hesitate to contact us.
Puppy Application Process
- Check out our upcoming litter's page.
- Once you have decided that you would love an Australian Cobberdog send in your application letting us know which litter meets your needs and preferences.
- I will get in touch with you and together agree we have a suitable litter coming, at this point we will organize a $500.00 non-refundable deposit for your reservation to be completed. This lets us know you are committed to a puppy. The total cost of a puppy is $3500.00 plus 6% Michigan sales tax, the deposit is subtracted from the price of a puppy.
- If we are not able to give you a puppy requested from a certain litter, we can move your deposit to a future litter. We are not able to refund your deposit if you have changed your mind. We understand. Things in life happen, so you can move your deposit to a later litter.
- At this point, your reservation will be all set.
At Joreese Australian Cobberdog we reserve the right anytime to have first pick of the litter for breeding and for those who will be trained for therapy/service work.

How To Apply
Please complete our puppy application below if you are interested in one of our puppies, to become a guardian family or would like to be placed on our waitlist.
There is a $500.00 non-refundable reservation deposit, you will be placed on our waitlist when your application and deposit are accepted ( we will refund your deposit if your application is not accepted). for our guardianship program, we will contact you with more information. The total price for a puppy is $3500.00 plus Michigan sales tax. The remaining payment of your purchase price $3000.00 less your deposit will be due one week before delivery or on the day of in-person pickup.
How Is Your Puppy Allocated?
After we announce that puppies are available, we will carefully work to make sure the right puppy goes to the right family. This will be based on a number of different factors, Temperament, personality, activity level and of course buyer preference based on your application.
We look at your family lifestyle and activity level to make the best fit for you, it is based on the time spent taking care of socializing and getting to know each pup individually. We ask that you would trust us to make this decision for your family.
Transportation
When you adopt a puppy from Joreese Australian Cobberdogs we will fly your puppy anywhere in the United States. You pup will travel inside the cabin with a puppy nanny, and never be left alone. We will meet you at your airport, or if you prefer, we can also meet you for pick-up by car. While we are traveling with your puppy we will keep you updated on how everything is going through text and pictures.
What is the Cost of This Service?
The cost will depends on the cost of gas and distance traveling, and also the cost of a round trip flight for puppy and travel nanny. We will give you a quote that we agree upon ahead of time, and the delivery will be on the final cost at puppy pick-up.
